Becoming a Client

In order for our firm to draft a living trust for you, we must obtain data about you, your estate and how you wish your estate to be distributed. We have created several worksheets that should give us all the data necessary for us to create your Complete Living Trust Package. Remember, you must be a California or Alaska resident.

There is an easy four-step process to obtain your Living Trust:

1. Obtain our custom Worksheets

2. Fill in all the data on the Worksheets

3. Using your printed Worksheets you may submit them to us using any of the following methods:

  1. Submit your data via an Internet Form
  2. Submit your data via Internet E-mail
  3. Submit your data via Facsimile
  4. Submit your data via U. S. Mail

4.  What Happens Now?

If your Worksheet was submitted to us complete, we are ready to draft your Complete Living Trust Package for you. You should receive it in 10 days to 2 weeks after we receive your payment. If you have any questions in the mean time, please feel free to contact us.

If your Worksheet was incomplete or you have not forwarded the correct fees, you can expect a call from your Case Manager in about a week. Your Case Manager will schedule an appointment with you and attorney Dimeff. We cannot proceed with the drafting of your trust package until you make all of your decisions regarding your trust. If you need help making your decisions to accomplish your goals, Attorney Dimeff and your Case Manager will help you. Only after we have all of the necessary information and payment will we forward your trust package to you.

Once you have reviewed your Trust, you may sign your documents at our local affiliate office, or you may go to any Notary Public. There is a small notary fee. During your drafting process, please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

ASK THE STATE BAR

It is highly recommended that you ALWAYS check with the State Bar before hiring an attorney for any legal matter. The State Bar is responsible for overseeing lawyers practicing law in the states in which they are licensed to practice. If an attorney has been subject to discipline or sued for malpractice, the State Bar of California will disclose those facts to you. The following Web site is where a consumer can check on any lawyer they are considering hiring for any service (Membership Records):

www.calsb.org/MM/SBMBRSHP.HTM

You may verify Mr. Dimeff's qualification with the State Bar. His State Bar number is 147358.

NEVER allow a non-attorney to draft your family's revocable living trust package for you. IT IS ILLEGAL to practice law without a license, and the drafting of a revocable living trust package is a legal service. Make sure that you are dealing directly with a lawyer and the law firm.

If you already have a lawyer, or if you are considering another law firm for your Trust Package, you should ask the lawyer the following questions to make an informed decision:

1. Is your practice focused on estate planning, tax planning and asset protection? (Ours is.)

2. Do you provide consultations for my family after my death? (We do!)

A WORD OR TWO ABOUT PROCRASTINATION.

Procrastination is one of the main reasons everyone in California has not created a Trust. When you consider the low initial cost of a trust by the Dimeff Law Office, the quality of the documents, and the quality of the support service, why wait any longer? Add to that the firm's dedication to helping people provide the maximum estate protection to their families, and there is no other reason to continue to procrastinate.

If you need help in deciding a distribution plan for your family or any aspect about protecting your estate, call or E-mail attorney Dimeff. There is no charge or obligation for this service.

The time to prepare your estate plan to protect yourself and your family is not after you've grown old, it's not after you get out of the hospital and it's not after you get back from your vacation. NOW is the time for you to take action. If you don't stay on top of your estate plan, the government has one for you.  The process is made easy through our Confidential Worksheets. Remember, once you have created and funded your Living Trust, you will have the peace of mind of knowing that you and your family will never have to face the tragedies of Probate, Conservatorship and Estate Taxes.
